How to Use

Commenting Guidelines

Thank you for your thoughtful comments on the Index. We want to foster a constructive, lively and friendly discussion. We’re imperfect and terms evolve: we need your ideas.

We have a few rules to help our comments section work well for everyone. The space for comments is limited to encourage brevity. We don’t provide for attaching files or inserting hyperlinks to reduce the risk of spam. We only keep comments for a limited amount of time: long threads can be distracting. We’ll be strict about the language of the comments: we’ll simply delete comments that seem to us offensive. If you’re upset by something you read on the Index, please wait a day or two before submitting your comments. And as a reminder, our Terms of Use allow us to use your comments in the Index and that you have no intellectual property rights to them.
